Making frozen pizza on the grill is almost as easy as throwing it in the oven, and in my opinion it tastes better because you get a nice crispy crust. Not only that but you can grill some veggies along side the pizza and you have some pretty fantastically delicious pizza toppings.
Another benefit is you can make pizza without using your oven on those hot summer days.
As I mentioned above, one of the things I like about grilling pizza is the crispy crust, but there’s a chance that part of the crust may end up burnt a little bit. Rotating the pizza helps, but its difficult to heat evenly with something unpredictable like an open flame. This doesn’t bother me too much but if it worries you, you can cover the grates with tin foil.

frozen pizza on the grill
|Prep time||2 minutes|
|Cook time||15 minutes|
|Total time||17 minutes|
- 1 frozen pizza
- veggies, cut large enough so that they don't fall through the grates (onion slices, jalapeno/peppers cut in long pieces, mushrooms, large slices of tomato)
|1.||Preheat your grill to about 400°f (you dont want it much hotter than that).|
|2.||Put the pizza on the grill, as well as any veggie slices you want to add. Cover the grill and cook for 7 minutes.|
|3.||Open the grill and turn the pizza 180°. Put the veggies on the pizza, or remove them and chop them up some more then add them to the pizza. Cover the grill and cook another 5-8 minutes until the pizza is done to your liking.|
