Crock Pot Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Sandwich

I decided to take a slight detour from traditional fall foods and cook up this hawaiian bbq chicken sandwich. It’s perfect for hectic weekdays because it’s just 3 ingredients to throw in the crock pot, then when the chicken is ready, grilling up the toppings only takes a few minutes. This sweet and tangy combination of ingredients is fool proof and satisfying.

It only takes 4 hours to cook, but if you will be gone all day and want to prepare it in the morning, it is fine if you have a crock pot with a timer. The warm setting won’t dry out the chicken too much.¬† If you are worried about it drying out, add 1/4 cup chicken broth or water.
