At my house, we love chili. Dumping a can of Hormel into a pot is pretty convenient but also pretty dull and flavorless. Many chili recipes I’ve tried turn out well but they require a good chunk of time to prepare ingredients and simmer on the stovetop. This recipe, using chili starter mix, is a fool proof way to cheat: all the flavor of the longer version with very little preparation and only 10 minutes cooking time!
Bloody Good Turkey Chili
|Prep time||5 minutes|
|Cook time||10 minutes|
|Total time||15 minutes|
- 1lb Ground Turkey
- 1 jar Tabasco Chili Starter
- 1 cup Bloody Mary Mix
- 1 can Red Beans
- 1/2 Onion (Chopped)
- Hot Sauce
|1.||Brown turkey in a large saute pan and drain grease.|
|2.||Add all of the remaining ingredients, bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Thatʼs it!|
If you prefer a less spicy version, use regular bloody mary mix, yellow onion and skip the hot sauce.
Serve with your favorite topping(s) or itʼs delicious on itʼs own.
