Bloody Good Turkey Chili

At my house, we love chili.  Dumping a can of Hormel into a pot is pretty convenient but also pretty dull and flavorless.  Many chili recipes I’ve tried turn out well but they require a good chunk of time to prepare ingredients and simmer on the stovetop.  This recipe, using chili starter mix, is a fool proof way to cheat: all the flavor of the longer version with very little preparation and only 10 minutes cooking time!

Serves 4
Prep time 5 minutes
Cook time 10 minutes
Total time 15 minutes
Flavorful turkey chili that you can make in just 15 minutes.

  • 1lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 jar Tabasco Chili Starter
  • 1 cup Bloody Mary Mix
  • 1 can Red Beans
  • 1/2 Onion (Chopped)
  • Hot Sauce

1. Brown turkey in a large saute pan and drain grease.
2. Add all of the remaining ingredients, bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Thatʼs it!

If you prefer a less spicy version, use regular bloody mary mix, yellow onion and skip the hot sauce.

Serve with your favorite topping(s) or itʼs delicious on itʼs own.
