Baked oatmeal is a great breakfast or snack option because its sweet and tasty but still hearty and healthy. Oatmeal is one of my favorite foods because you can easily change it up and it keeps me feeling full all morning. You can’t go wrong with apple cinnamon! This recipe gets a lot of it’s flavor from apple sauce.
I used a regular sized muffin tin, so it works out to about an individual snack size. If you eat them for breakfast, I’d recommend eating at least two, or pairing them with something else.
You can easily pick these up and eat them with your hands too.

Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal Singles

|Cook time||20 minutes|

- 3 cups oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup apple sauce
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 apples (chopped)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 drop vanilla
|1.||Preheat Oven to 350°. Grease muffin tin with butter.|
|2.||Mix dry ingredients (except for apples). Add remaining ingredients and mix, apples last. Pour into tin.|
|3.||Bake for 20 minutes. While baking, mix icing ingredients.|
|4.||Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes then remove muffins from tin and top with icing.|
